I ordered 8 pairs of these curtains 5 months ago so they have been hanging for a long time. I have to say these are the BEST curtains I've ever bought! I couldn't make them myself at this price point and they have withstood a couple of cats and a wild 7 year old who uses them to imitate stage curtains! They wash easily in the cold and I iron them warm. I will order more from this company if I want to change my colors again.

I agree with most reviews that these curtains do not darken the room, but they do darken the room significantly. Last night the full moon didn't light up our room like it used to. The material is very comfortable. Make sure you order wide enough - at least twice the width of your window. The pleasant surprise was the amount of noise they block. Our neighbor leaves the tractor trailer for hours at night and I can no longer hear it in the bedroom. Definitely worth the money.

GAME CHANGER. I already had a great window treatment for my room, double cornice, linen sheets behind velvet curtains blocking the light. But since the double pole was sticking out of the wall, I still had to seal the light. I now have a Revain Basics shower rod and these curtains stick to the window frame (behind the sheets) and I've never slept better. . Wow I am amazed at the high quality of these curtains! They are very soft to the touch but are a nice solid heavy curtain that will keep out the light and cold that might enter through your windows if you live in an old house like me. I literally only got them about 2 hours ago and hung them up and I was so impressed with the fact that the chill I get from my front window is now gone that I have ordered 3 more pairs for my bedroom and guest bedroom. I have a room that if you want to watch tv in the sun beats until lunch every day. I bought a beautiful brushed nickel curtain rod and stretched it as far as I could to hang completely from the French doors and transoms behind the paneling. Withdrawn, they set a beautiful accent in the room. When closed they do a reasonable job - definitely enough for me to be able to enjoy my TV without any issues, which is all I wanted. Unfortunately, when I was working on the kits, I found that some of them had different quality controls.
