Purchased to strengthen my trailer's bumper after moving the bike rack further back which put more stress on the bumper. The brackets themselves fit perfectly on my RV's 4" square tube bumper. The instructions show how to attach the bumper to different frame types. It also includes fasteners for these different mounts. Unfortunately the fasteners themselves are not long enough to accommodate my bumper to the mounting frame, although this method is shown in the instructions. This required a trip to the hardware store to get the fasteners the right length. Since I was going to the store anyway, I'd rather not include fasteners for the cheaper price with instructions on how to purchase the necessary hardware for each mounting situation. Now I've paid extra for a bunch of hardware that I don't need and then I had to have more buy when i needed.
