Review on New Balance 1340V3 Athletic Men's Running Shoes in Black by Robert Ducki

I bought and liked about 6 pairs of 1340 V2. It has always been comfortable to wear, right out of the box. I was disappointed that they updated to V3 but I gave them a chance. I ordered 12.5W (apparently they say W instead of 2E now, according to the website's new balance sheet, W and 2E are the same). They arrived and I put them on for a quick walk around the block with my dog. They hurt, immediately the sides crushed the outside of my leg, right next to the pinky toe. It still hurts 30 minutes after taking off your shoes. Even the sole of the shoe was stiffer and more painful than the V2. I also bought the V2 for my wife and she described it as pillow walking. These V3s are tough and unforgiving. I'm swapping them out for a pair of 4E's to see if they fit better but I don't think so. It's a flop. And they obviously weren't made in the USA either, boo, New Balance, BOOOOO! Edit4E hurts too
