Great camera - if only the firmware worked

I bought the X100V a few months ago and I love the control Fuji gives you with their retro cameras. Wanting more versatility, I bought this X-T4 with a kit lens. A very good combination and only a few small differences between the operation of the two cameras - the position of the dials and the like. The problem is that after updating the firmware to 1.22 it cannot be paired with my smartphone (pairing with X100V worked). He paired with 1.21 and then updated the firmware to the latest. It didn't fix the bug they were trying to fix (at least for me) and it was even worse because now I can't pair at all. My impression is that when the Fuji app gives the error "Not connected" the app doesn't recognize the connection as coming from the X-T4 (or any other X camera). And Fuji's email support doesn't exist - just a phone number. But it takes great pictures!
