Prior to this, there was a Samsung soap box for about the same price (cheaper than 3000). I would have bought Samsung now, but they began to make soap dishes with their own type of batteries that do not match AA, so the option has disappeared. Compared to the Samsung three years ago: 1. The quality of the photos is lower (the quality of the photos is decreasing for everyone from year to year, but the number of megapixels is growing) 2. The lens is wider-angle - that is, it captures more elements at the edges. This is a plus that gives rise to minuses - because of the wide-angle at the edges, everything is very distorted. That is, if you shoot multi-storey buildings - the left and right houses will be "tilted" to the center. The old Samsung optics were not so pop and therefore everything looked more real. 3. In photo mode, exposure and focus work flawlessly. In video mode, both work with brakes, you have to get used to it. For example, you filmed green grass, then moved the camera to an area where the sky is. The sky is much brighter than the grass, the exposure changes automatically so that there is no overexposure. In this Nikon, the exposure also changes, but not immediately, but after a few seconds you want. It's the same with the focus when moving from far to near or vice versa, the object does not immediately rebuild, but thinks. As far as I understand, this is due to a weak processor - in video mode, the processor processes the video stream and forces on the aperture, and it does not have focus. The video itself is of normal quality compared to cheap competitor soap dishes, when the subject is close to the maximum, defocusing occurs. But it is not necessary to demand this from a soap box. Although the Samsung did not have such imperfections. Conclusion: Among the models of the lower price category with "AA" batteries, this model is the most interesting in my opinion. Many note that the quality of matrices is declining every year - this is even more pronounced with competitors than here.
