Review on Paracord Fluorescent Reflective Guyline Camping by Nathan Skipper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for DIY tent guy lines

Make your own lightweight, reflective guy lines. Most tents come with 4 guy lines and you usually need at least 5-7 guy lines to fully stretch the tent. Choose a light color (orange, yellow so you can see the string during the day) and cut into 8-10 pieces. Melt the cut edge with a lighter to harden it. Add a guy line tensioner (I used marshmallows) and you have some great, simple guy lines. You get what you pay for: Spend a few bucks more for a Paracord Planet cord that's less likely to tangle, knot, and break. Guys should last for years if air dried after use. Photo 1 - homemade quickdraws and stands for my Marmot Tungsten 1p tent. (I've updated my stakes to MSR Groundhogs for the guy lines and Mini Groundhogs for the tent body).
