Review on CORSA 14439BLK Cat Back Exhaust System by Brody Jacobs

I actually bought this from an authorized Corsa dealer (online) but wanted to leave a review here hoping no one gets disappointed after paying so much for this one CAT muffler has paid system. Don't get me wrong, this is a great system, possibly the best I've ever had (I'll get to that later), but if you fancy a loud exhaust system for your car, when you read "Xtreme" in the title, you will be very disappointed! I had three different styles of mufflers on my 2007 300C and by far the best sound came from the Cherry Bomb Extreme Mufflers (Part #7426). Loud for my taste but not too loud, great start and deep idle with an acceleration noise for everyone to hear. Cherry Bomb Glass Packages I disabled the ECU with the stupid MOPAR ECU, all defaulting to "Bring on Dealer Service!" (Because I know the bank 2 PPC didn't just break the same day I did the silencers installed), so I figured it was time to do something that wouldn't. In my search I found that Corsa makes factory exhausts for MOPAR and I just don't pay them what they want but the Corsa should have been a good bet. Their website has video clips in the 300 section for Chrysler. The video there called "RT xtreme" sounds great on startup, idling and accelerating. I also looked at others on the Corsa youtube page and settled on this system. I received the system, installed it and the moment has come. I start the car and immediately think WHAT!? The sound actually coming from this "Xtreme" system in my car sounds like my grandma's car! I have two low quality (smartphone) video clips that I will try to upload but even they are not true. For example, sitting in the car, all windows open, the radio off, the air conditioning fan running at full speed, you can't even hear it idling! You can hear it on first start and it sounds good in WOT, but I don't have the money for gas or tickets to drive in WOT. I contacted Corsa TECH Support using the serial numbers on the muffler assemblies (the only part that differs between Xtreme and Sport systems) and they confirmed that I have Xtreme parts, so be aware the coolest, "Xtreme ' the Corsa sound system reminds me of a good old 1980's Dodge Charger 2+2 (embarrassing) unless your gas pedal is on the floor. It is by no means a bad system. Let me be very clear that in every other way, aside from the overly perfect sound, this system is the best I've ever had. I love the exit. The equipment is fantastic, straight out of the factory. It just went on and was a lot easier to align and center (mostly on my own) during installation. Much better play on the driveshaft and everything else. If quiet sound doesn't bother you, or you're looking for something quiet but not quite factory then this system is for you. I recommend this product.
