9/13/2022: I have an old laptop that doesn't have USB-C, only mini DP and USB 3 ports, so I had to buy a mini DP to HDMI adapter cable and connect it via USB-C. Cable. I usually leave it on me and use it vertically. The base is very versatile. The display itself is great too, very bright and bright. However, as with everything in life, there is always a catch and that is a cheap @ss case made out of cheap plastic. Especially the plastic hinge. He is very fragile. Mine broke after less than 5 months. I just contacted support, let's see what they will do about it. 09/14/2022: Yesterday I sent an email to info@ofiyaa.net. No response after 24 hours. I took the liberty of removing the mechanical hinge's plastic cover. As you can see from the photos there are 4 tiny screws holding the screen on two hinges. Two screws on each side. The screws are held by broken plastic posts. Very bad design. If they made plastic frames out of thicker, stronger materials, that wouldn't be a problem at first. Seller "CIDETTY Electronics". Your customer service is top notch. The seller didn't ask me to send him a broken screen. As a gesture of goodwill I am changing my rating to 5 stars. My initial comments on the build quality of the screen stand. With the new replacement screen, I have no doubt it will have the same issues. However, I have a few ideas for reinforcing the hinge with epoxy. I will update this review in the future. 09/21/2022 The hinge of the new screen has a larger screw, see attached photo. Hopefully this improvement will stop the abuse in the coming days.
