For reference I have a Belgian Shepherd, he wears size XL in a life jacket, he also weighs 100lbs. The reason I bought this was because it was a color I could recognize in the lake, pool and my pool. My dog wears a vest because he loves the water so much he needs to de-stress a bit to keep from falling asleep and overexerting himself. I like the neoprene on the waistband and it doesn't interfere with freedom of movement. My dog actually grabs it and wants to put it on before going in the pool! If you are looking for a color and a great price and it works, get this one, you won't be disappointed, it's by no means easy to put on and take off.
