Review on Brandmotion 9002-8847 Rear Vision System: Adjustable Mount Camera for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK with Factory Display Radio by Dave Rasic

My setup was a bit bumpy, I was missing a part. The seller is very responsive, like BrandMotion, no complaints. But BrandMotion and I just couldn't find the same problem page. It was frustrating, and since I figured it out at the end of the install, everything was buttoned up while I worked to get the missing part. I had to take the dash off to send the photos but after I sent the full photos they sent me the missing suspension. Rule #1: Check the details before you start. :) Also, I really like the product even though it's a bit pricey. I think it's well done, the picture is very good and definitely gives me a lot more confidence in our Unlimited. I liked that too. Sounds crazy but my wife loves her jeep and her tires. So I used an extension mount and actually mounted the camera over the tire, just above the third eye brake light. There are more than enough cables and the mount fits pretty well. I lose sight a bit near the bumper, so I usually walk across the bus, but I need it most when backing up in parking lots. It makes my wife happy, so be it. I was glad the parts gave me a choice. If you think you might want to do the same, just leave some slack at the end of the camera when installing. The only annoying part of the installation was trying to connect the cigarette lighter adapter to power, there was no slack. If you have a 2015 Jeep and have never hooked up the dash it's pretty easy but watch some videos online first or you could crack the plastic on this car. FYI - the instructions mention that the beep beeps when programming is complete via the ODB2 port, my 2015 didn't beep but worked fine.
