This towel is cooled by evaporative cooling. It really cools you down and even saves you from heat stroke if you use it diligently in combination with a hat and SPF. I've worked in 110 degrees Fahrenheit and this towel is the only reason I've never felt sick. In extreme conditions you need water to keep it moist which is why it comes with a holdall. They can easily be washed in the washing machine and tumble dried. Sometimes I tie it around my head like a scarf and wear it under my hat or on my lap when I'm taking a break. It will chill you if you use your common sense. Start using the towel when it comes out. Don't wait until you're desperate! Much luck.
