While cleaning my ceiling fan blades with a wrap-around bristle, it accidentally brushed against a rough, unplained, and dusty wooden beam. The dust (the bain of my cleaning) came off. Anything cloth gets caught on splinters and using a broom just scatters it. I remembered seeing extension poles with different attachments so a quick search turned up an attachment meant for spider webs. It works very well on webs, but it also held most of the dust. There was a lot of dust on the beams so some of it fell to the floor, but that was okay. Now I can use this once a week and keep it from building up. I gave the pole and attachment a good workout. It was sturdy and easy to adjust the length of the pole. I also used the microfiber duster to remove the fine dust that the web attachment didn't catch. I haven't used the other attachments yet or hung the wall rack, but I expect them to be very useful.
