This is a great option if you only need shoe grips occasionally. that's exactly what we need. We live on a hilltop in Colorado, a country with erratic snow. When it snows our driveway can get pretty slippery and it's handy to put something on and just get to work. Pros: 1) No need to buy a separate pair of boots or shoes, just for the days when it's really slick. I like this as a great money saving option for us as there is no reason to buy cleated bottom boots. This gives us confidence that we can stand in the driveway and not slip! 2) easy to put on. They slipped over my lightweight boots with no problem. 3) The thorns are flat, without thorns. I like this feature as it provides traction without damaging the road. They promise to prevent falls without paying you a fortune when you need your driveway repaired. Cons: 1) The only negative for me is basic. I don't understand how they can easily put on heavy winter boots. This is definitely a bummer as there are places where you need heavy boots. There is a simple possible solution - you can buy one size larger than you need. Because they sit on the sole of your boot, you can easily order a size up and they won't hang down the bottom of your shoe. I would do this if you live in a cold area and need big heavy boots. Keep that in mind before you order but other than that they are amazing and we love them!
