I felt they were very easy to put together as long as you hold them straight on the surface or in a slight twist. If you wanted to cut them out and look at them from a different angle, I still had a very hard time understanding the instructions. So I decided to keep it straight. They work FANTASTIC! They are very bright. You have a choice between 10 seconds and 5 minutes. It comes with everything you need. Double sided tape to hold the sensor in place. The only tools you need are a straight knife and scissors if you decide to cut it at different angles. I might actually get a few more of these. I would definitely recommend her.
