I just bought it and after a few days of use I fell in love. I bought this specifically because I wanted something that would allow me to drink quality loose tea on the go while it's cold brewed. This bottle encourages me to stay hydrated throughout the day, which I've consistently failed to do. My favorite parts of this brewer are the wonderful techniques of the company that makes it. Grosche has some fantastic initiatives including a program where for every product you buy from them that qualifies (this is one of them), you give someone in the world five days of clean water. They also seem to genuinely believe in a sustainable business, which is important for the products I buy. As for the bottle itself, although made in China (designed by a Canadian company), the glass is hand blown (NOT MACHINED) and of excellent quality. Stainless steel is also a plus, and some plastic parts are all BPA-free, with all metals being lead-free. These design features mean that whatever you put in the bottle will not have an unpleasant chemical aftertaste. My tea always tastes like tea and the flavors stay the same! Fine hole brew means no odd particles in your favorite drink, not even some of my best tea leaves slip down the bottle, mostly glass and stainless steel with a few plastic parts (again, lead and BPA free, of course). too hot to hold) although the glass is extremely strong and heat resistant, however it can withstand boiling and hot water and won't break if you pour hot water in it, this isn't a huge negative for me as I've never been a regular hot tea drinker, myself prefer to cold brew most of my teas. Removing the tea leaves can be a little awkward as the tea strainer is at the bottom and you have to turn it over to remove the old tea leaves or coffee grounds. Due to the strap the bottle is not upside down, this can cause some issues but for me the quality of the bottle and the fact that my iced tea is constantly brewed throughout the day because the egg is on the bottom outweighs the fact that I have to do a bit of juggling to remove the egg and I've always liked stronger tea so I usually emptied the bottle of liquid before taking out the tea leaves. the quality of the product outweighs this, especially if you're going to be consuming what's in the bottle for an extended period of time (maybe an hour or two). All in all, this is an excellent life-changing product (and blew me away a bit), so I'd highly recommend it, especially if you're brewing cold coffee, tea, or fruit in water.
