It has some key elements that I was looking for but didn't necessarily find in all variants: GPIO pins so I can connect a parallel cable without the fan turn off. The pins are well labeled when I connect directly without working with a prototyping board. - Access to the camera connector with a slot on the circuit board to feed through the ribbon cable. - Turn on will not interfere with the case I have. I tried another fan hat with horizontal switches that didn't work for me. This one also restarted the machine when I cycled the fan or lights, which wasn't good, but this one didn't cause any blackouts. It's super cool. I was watching some movies and doing other work and the temperature was barely over 40 degrees. The temperature is typically 30 °C with limited CPU load. I tried a similar board from the same manufacturer that offered programmable lighting and fan speed, but I'm not an experienced programmer and couldn't get it to work the way I wanted. That's easy; just plug it in and it works. I will buy it again in the future if needed.
