Do not buy replacement wicks
I have tried several filters and these are by far the worst. the best, but I had the opposite experience. They don't really absorb water very well and the humidity in my room stays pretty low. I suppose they're less cumbersome and easier to maintain, but only because they don't work well. Also, they're an inch shorter than a standard filter, and when I tried pre-soaking them, the water just ran through them instead of soaking.
