Having used a pair of gloves for more than four months, I have to say that these are the best gloves I have ever worn for washing dishes. They are very elastic and will not break or tear when touched with a sharp object. Additionally, the "sleeves" at the top of the gloves are just roomy enough to reduce the amount of "oversplash" that can soak your elbows and forearms. They definitely improve dishwashing. In addition, the material is lightweight and surprisingly durable. This helps your hands recognize what they're touching, including cutlery, countertops, and other appliance surfaces. If it were possible I would give these gloves six stars.
