Lots of fake reviews. This one is real. Had a similar belt and buckle for a few years. It worked well in the beginning, but a lot has changed in the last few months. It opened when lifting a heavy object. Gradually it got worse and opened up with almost every movement. Careful visual inspection revealed no obvious deterioration. Nothing broken or worn. Nothing to fix. As usual, finding a replacement for anything or buying a new one isn't easy. Lots of options. Most belts of this style have received a lot of bad reviews. Of these, everything looked the most promising. I went with a plastic buckle. I took out the nylon strap and trimmed it. Be careful when reinserting it as it can be inserted incorrectly and the buckle will not close. Once you snap the buckle, it stays closed. No late opening. The little instruction card is useless; Pictures are too small.
