I have a '97 Jeep Cherokee. The body and interior of the car have clocked 253,000 miles. Every detail, down to the nuts and bolts, is new. One of the last things I wanted to tackle was the exhaust system front and rear including a new catalytic converter, muffler and O2 sensors. I am happy with them and will be using them again in a minute. I'm having a hard time estimating mileage as I've only driven the XJ about 200 miles since O2 sensors were added. *** I will say that it is much easier to pre-install them than an already installed exhaust. ;)
