I bought a Triton Stone Grader shortly after buying an old horizontal water sharpener that seemed to have outlived its useful life. Used to sharpen gouges and various other rotary tools, it was hollowed out about 3/16 of an inch. After about 30 or 40 minutes of painstaking work (spread out over a day or so) I got it back on track. I also cleaned up my old bench grinder. I cleaned the Triton Stone Grader several times by dipping it in a bucket of water, splashing it around a bit and scrubbing it with a stiff brush. The stone is still relatively true. to the original condition.
