Sound quality improved instantly with built in analog output. Sounds good! It's very easy to install once you know how. If you're using LibreELEC like I am, the drivers are already included with the OS (most supported OSs I've read have them). You just have to add it to the configuration. Do the following: 1) SSH into your RPI (I won't go into detail, google it if you must) 2) Type "cd ". and press Enter (without quotes)3) Type "mount -o remount,rw /flash" (without quotes) to remount the flash directory as writable4) Type "nano /flash/config.txt " (without quotes)5) Down arrow down and at the end type: dtoverlay=allo-boss-dac-pcm512x-audio6) Press ctrl+x, select y (yes to overwrite the file) and press 7) Type "reboot" (without quotes) to restart the system 8 ) Now in Kodi go to "Settings" - "System Settings" - "Audio" and select that Default Output Device "ALSA: Standard (BossDAC Analog) Done, enjoy your DAC HAT sound :)
