Review on 12ft Straight Power Cord for Escort & Beltronics Radar Detectors by Mark Loebis

Why I bought it: I ordered a 12ft cable so I could run the cable down my car's headliner and A-pillar to fix it to make it more discreet look. The 6ft cord was about a foot shorter and they don't seem to do anything in between. Pros: Fairly long Cons: It fell apart. Before I disassembled the machine to lay the cable, I checked it first. I connected both ends and saw that my detector was on. While I was moving the cable a bit, my detector lost power. When I tried to move the cable to restore power, the wires fell out leaving a clean connector in the detector. I really hate returning items so will try to make it work. When I can't reconnect it, I connect it with a purchased 6ft cable that turned out to be too short. The connector at this seam holds normally.
