I would keep looking if I were you.
I bought this for my husband because he wanted to learn how to crochet. I thought this would help him get started. In all honesty, there are probably better kits out there. He says the yarn is too thin and there's not enough to use on any big projects and can only be used on smaller ones. The rubber on the hooks has started to break and he ended up using clay to make new handles for them, and just bought some new hooks. The bag has been nice to store his yarn in, but I honestly could have just bought a regular bag for him.
