My new water bottle is great. This is hard work. I can't imagine him ever bending. The color is also heavy. Maybe one day it will scratch, but I doubt it. My water always stays cool. The lid has a hole for a straw (straw sold separately). I prefer to use a straw. The lid has a metal buckle that prevents accidental opening of the lid. The only downside I see is that I bought a 32oz pitcher. It's pretty hard (I'm pretty old and weak). Now I'm going to order a 24 ounce pitcher. I wanted more water, but I think I'd like it a little lighter. Although the pitcher is generally cool. Haven't tried the hot drink yet but I bet this jug works exactly as advertised. I am very happy with it. =0)
