I was a bit skeptical about how well any of these would work. I was even more skeptical considering this is on the cheaper side of what's available out there. Now I have used it exclusively as an amateur archer, but it has exceeded all my expectations. Once you get used to it, you'll find that there's quite a range of versatility. You'll find different angles and pressure levels that you can apply to remove exactly the amount of wood you want to remove. You can also use it "in reverse" as a scraper. I say reverse because I don't know if that was even the intended usage or not. But if you turn around you can scrape a very small amount of wood from your project to remove finer wood like I use half the time. I also left this tool outside (under the lid) for a few months and it still works like new. I am very impressed so if you are in the market you have nothing to lose by deciding to buy this. The price is very reasonable and the quality is excellent. I'll buy another one when my current one becomes unusable (which I suspect will be if I lose it because I don't see it breaking or becoming unusable in the near future).
