Not for Vein Health. I bought them to prevent vein problems in my legs. Yes, they compress, but not at all. I wore them during the day and when I took them off I was shocked. They pushed the blood down instead of pushing it up. It looked very scary, almost like bleeding. So I thought maybe it's just me. So the next day I put on a pair of actual compression stockings and when I took them off...nothing. So these socks are meant for beauty and can be really dangerous for some people with serious leg vein problems. I do not recommend.
