This is a good thermometer. I've been trying to find one for my husband when he uses the grill to make sure everything is at the right temperature. I prefer to use it in the oven, the long neck makes it easy to read the temperature without having to take the food out of the oven completely. The only thing that bothers me is that when you turn it on you have to switch to degrees Fahrenheit, it automatically switches to degrees Celsius. It's also magnetic, which is a surprise! I kept it on the side of the fridge for easy access to the stove! I recommend this product.
