Review on Create Realistic Skin Tones With Derwent ColourSoft Skintone Pencils In A Metal Tin - 6 Count by Carrie Goldberg

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great choice colors for skin

This is a nice selection. It really can do many skintones. Search online for the derwent tutorial showing how to use this kit for 3 portraits, one Caucasian, one Asian, one African descent. Also, if you bought one of the smaller sets, like me, it adds some useful colors for nature and floral, brown, neutral and pink. AlsoI delayed this review so I could test lightfastness in my window for a couple of months. As usual with Derwent, they low ball themselves a little with how long the colors last. The lowest rated in this set, the light pink hasn't changed at all in more than 2 months, while some of the prisma pinks have put up to compare have literally vanished off the page. I'm thinking the new Derwent lightfast pencils (not available yet in the US ) are going to be amazing. However, I can't afford them!
