Most wire strippers with discrete holes are designed for much larger gauge wire. This is one of the few I've seen going down to 30 ga. Also suitable for some "connected wire" sensors. I got it as a supplement, I bought a second one. Only thing is the handle interfered with the locking lever on the second pair so I had to cut it with a office knife. Finally trying to break the habit of stripping wires with little Xcelite imitations and moving on to something less lame.
