I have a boxer that weighs about #68. He was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy about a year and a half ago. Due to illness he has a strong weakness in his hind legs. We have wooden floors and he just slips and slides and it's very difficult for him to move unless he's on carpet. These shoes fit him very well. They give him the support he needs to get from point a to point b without falling or hurting himself. I got a big one just to be safe but I could probably put a medium on it and it would be fine but I hate giving things back so I went for a little more. They are of very good quality and made of thick material. They hold up just as well as shoes on a dog. Every now and then he pulls behind with his back left foot, so sometimes I see the shoes slipping off. These are great shoes.
