Several reviews said the hammer head was a bit loose. I ordered it anyway as it was almost half the price of the French Osborne 65 hammer. When I received the hammer it was no surprise that the hammer head didn't fit snugly in the handle. This was an easy fix, see photos: photos A and B. Use plastic tubing to lightly nail the head to the handle. Photo B. Then, using the blade of a screwdriver, hammer in the metal steel wedge until it enters the handle about 1/8 inch (3.2mm). The hammer is now firmly on the handle. The steel hammer head and wooden handle are of acceptable quality, but poor or hasty assembly at the factory.
