I have three kids and they wanted a walkie talkie. I didn't want to buy the ones that were at the "dollar store" level and broke the next day. It is great. Decent range, relatively easy controls, and built-in light that kids love. It's good quality and price. I haven't tested the whole range, but we have a big house and it works everywhere. There are no glitches either. Highly recommended for children. It also copes well with battery power.
