Attractive design, recommend

We needed a door that would slide to cover a hallway to keep pets confined. I purchased this door because they had the exact size that I would need.In other reviews, I noticed recurring types of complaints: people said that the door pieces moved around, causing visible gaps. I don't think the instructions specified, but I made sure that the back diagonal pieces crossed in the opposite direction as the front pieces to make the cross-bracing of the loose pieces most effective. I also stained the door close to its natural color and added several layers of polyurethane; I think painting would have too much potential to expose gaps between the pieces when they shift.I hope that helps future buyers, I don't usually write reviews but I really love this door. It was a fun project, cost effective, and solved our problems in an attractive way. Assembly and installation of the door was fairly easy.
