Very durable wood. The laser cut is clean, but be careful when removing details. Only the smallest details had to be sanded. Don't grind unnecessarily; Check the fit first and only grind what you need. Most parts are securely attached. This build was fun and challenging; no easy assembly. At the end of step 11, the two main assemblies are assembled. This is where I got frustrated because the pieces kept falling out and I had to glue two pieces together to finally succeed. The teaching scheme is clear, but with limitations. Scan the QR code for the video to help and find out the rest, it's a mystery after all. It took about 14 hours with no rush, over four days, and step 11 took 2 hours. In general, it was a lot of fun, and the mechanism is fascinating. This is my third build but definitely not the last. Highly recommended. My wife likes it best.
