Robust construction. Hard to find.
I used these fittings on both sides of the check valve in a system where everything was brazed. Now I can replace the valve without unsoldering it. I've had trouble with them leaking from the threaded side, even with teflon tape and two 18" wrenches. I had to disassemble and use Teflon pipe sealant. It worked. The delivery next to me carries it.
