Review on πŸ”ͺ Unleash Maximum Cutting Power with Titan Elite Industrial Grade Heavy Duty Scissor by Morgan Gilmore

The pin/screw holding the blades together broke after 11 months

I bought these shears on 28th July 2013 As for their "heavy duty" I found that very true and I liked these scissors for that. Fact. However, tonight, June 19, 2014, the scissors broke after 11 months of daily use. If scissors got dirty after certain types of heavy use, I've washed them with warm, mild, soapy water to clean them. When they broke tonight I examined the pieces carefully. Both blades are fully intact and intact. The sales page says the blades are rust resistant but apparently the connecting pin/screw is not. It appears to be completely rusted and therefore broke tonight with normal daily heavy use. Be warned of this fact! Try not to get the scissors wet, or if you find a way, dry them completely before putting them away (this is tricky at the internal contact points where the pin locks the two halves. Oil the scissors every month at the joint or something might help). Two other reviewers also stated that the locking pin broke, although one broke at 1 month and the other at 3 months. At least my pair lasted almost 11 months.
