Tacoma O2 sensor replacement

Had P0420 engine check code related to catalytic converter function on 95.5 Tacoma 2.4L 2wd with auto pickup. Since the truck had 163,000 miles I decided to replace the intake and exhaust O2 sensors with Denso OEM sensors to see if that was the problem. After soaking extremely rusty nuts in solvent, I easily removed what was left of the nuts. Surprisingly, the mounting bolts remained in good condition. I bought some new metric stainless steel nuts from my local hardware store and replaced both gauges. It has been 2 weeks since the CEL was cleared and the code was not returned. Both sensors are a perfect match, came with gaskets and plugged straight into the ports with no problem. The sensor (234-4153) referred to in this overview is a low flow sensor. Upflow Sensor - 234-4162. I would recommend this product to a friend and it was the best price I could find anywhere. JW
