I think what I really want might not exist - an insulated mug with a straw lid that's easy to take apart and machine wash, with a straw that dries completely when left overnight stays on the rack. Meanwhile, it's a pretty decent job for a water bottle during kindergarten lunches. My child has to use a lot of muscle power to open and close it, but then again there were no leaks. It sweats when you're pouring a very cold drink, so we'll pour in room-temperature water and pack it in a cooler bag instead. We decided that we were more concerned with not having leaks than with keeping the water very cold. Rock solid, it's already hit the pavement and there's only one very small dent.
