Review on Blue Whale Ergonomic Computer Adjustable by Erin Young

Sturdy and supports the neck but low

EDIT: I decided it was a very bad purchase/chair. Not only is the chair too low in the highest position, but after about a week of use it started to wobble and your body/skin couldn't breathe on contact with the chair's surface. You will leave the stool "wet" as the skin becomes hot. Except for the high backrest, I have almost nothing left on this chair. Finding office chairs for my height is always a problem, most seem to weigh around 250 pounds and for me even 300 pounds wears out quickly even if they weigh more than they get. Another issue is that the back brace mostly goes halfway down my back. . There is a good neck support pillow and the handrails are widely spaced and can be adjusted (one step - no fine adjustment). There are two adjustment levers on the chair - in height and in back. The backrest is too far from the chair to be easily reached when seated - this gives you a backrest with a very weak spring that doesn't really push you away and gives way until you should reach into the far extreme position - that's not straight up , but about 20 degrees backwards. Uncomfortable, so the only option left to me is to fix the back in a certain position. This makes the chair uncomfortable to sit on all day. Perhaps the cause of the discomfort is a pillow under the neck, but some adjustments are still needed to make a final judgement. But because of this problem, it is not very convenient. The biggest problem is the up/down option. This is the standard gas cylinder lever for "office chairs" which requires the chair to be raised very high when the chair is unloaded and the lever is tight. Pulling while seated lowers the chair. So far so good - it works, but the TOP position is low. This wouldn't be an issue if you could adjust the seat angle to lower the front slightly, but such an adjustment isn't possible. Also, the pillow you sit on doesn't hold up the "tall/tall" people. It straightens up in minutes and it seems like you're sitting on something solid. I'm afraid this chair will not survive here due to lack of support and features. It doesn't look like a tall/men's high chair and its adjustments are minimal. I have a few more things to try to see if I can get this to work. The price was reasonable, especially considering the chair lasts 2-3 years (which is more than my average office chair lasts). By the way. Please ignore the claim for "lumbar support". This is a small unplugged pad with a 5ft USB cable. Yes, you'll trip over this cable no matter how you use it, and since the pad is relatively small, it doesn't really touch where it should. I knew this before buying so didn't expect it to make a difference.
