Review on πŸͺ’ High-Quality Carbon Steel Straight Edge Shaving Razor for Men with 3” Blade - Black and White Checked Handle by Kristen Green

Excellent razors

I'm a razor novice. So I have no idea what crazy prices are. I bought 4 of these between Amazon and Ebay. This is the most expensive. This one is my favourite. The other three took a lot of whetstone work to trim even the peachy down, not to mention the sideburns. I still feel like it shaves better than these. They had thick blades, sharp as a factory butter knife. This one is sharper but I made the edge from scratch. This blade becomes thin at half width, like a razor blade. The rest had a V shape along the edge. I spent about $18 on this one, I've spent between $3 and $10 each on ebay. they suck I wish I could just buy a second one with the money. This blade edge is fine from the factory. It trims peach fuzz here and there, but I think it would be MUCH better if you redid the fringe. If I use it every day I might invest in a more expensive one. More to see what these expensive ones have that this one doesn't have. But now I can test it out and see if I even want to shave with a straight razor rather than a disposable razor. UPDATE: 5 months later. Since then I've bought razors for over $50. I think they are better. I don't use it anymore but I still keep it just in case. I still think this is a good razor to start with if you are unsure about switching to a straight razor and don't want to spend a fortune. I think the difference between high end and this one is the length of time they come out on top. And the ones on ebay (Chinese steel) are a bit jaded and given to my kids to pretend to shave with me. Don't even bother with these.
