Great alignment set!

First of all I would like to say that the quality of this alignment kit is top notch, especially for the price. There have never been any questions about this product. The setup was of course a bit disappointing, as with almost every other car/truck. One comment I've come across quite a bit is that if you get a 3" front alignment kit you need longer control arms. NO! You are not. Yes it fits snugly when the car is lifted, yes your lever can touch the pillar in the air. But once you lower the car and put weight back on it, the stick won't be as close to contact as everyone said. One thing I recommend is to use a PB blaster for each bolt! I had taken good care of the truck so I had no problems with bolts sticking. But I know how trucks rust especially. Don't let this get you down and just go into this project prepared. The front mount is by far the worst. Just because you removed most of the caliper, tie rod, upper arm and strut assembly itself. But once it's all gone and you start putting it back together, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND BUYING THE INSTRUMENT SET! I went to Oreilly and they have a set for $19.99. It's worth it. Otherwise, you will get a severe headache trying to put on this set. The stern is super east. I recommend doing this one side at a time so you don't have all of the axis offset and you will have a hard time getting the kit back aligned. The supplied U-bracket for the rear is also quite long. You can't use a deep socket to re-tighten the screws unless you use an angle grinder and undercut the screws a bit, which I recommend. If you don't have access to one like mine, you'll need a 15/16 key (at least for the 2006 F150 Lariat 2WD) and lots of patience. Anyway, this set is great and I highly recommend it. Thank you Motofab!
