I have a lot of DeWalt tools and am a big fan of the brand, but these bits aren't very good. I drilled three 3/4" deep holes in the concrete with the first bit before the bit came loose from the shank. It didn't break, it just started spinning in the hex shaft. It only took me 7 shallow holes to turn installing the transition piece between the kitchen floor and the carpet so I figured that would help. The drill bit drilled quickly and didn't have the hesitation of a drill bit bought at a discount at any popular local tool store. I spent less than two minutes with it drilled so it's a big disappointment. All is not lost though. Now I can apply human logic and use this as an excuse to spend a few hundred bucks on a hammer drill and some real rock chisels.
