these bearings actually rattled worse because the distance between the mounting plates was too big
I bought these strut bearings to eliminate the rattle of loose stock bearings; but these bearings actually rattled worse due to the excessive clearance between the mounting plates. My friends at Ford tell me the service gaps were opened up to accommodate gap reduction due to the mounting plates corroding in rusting conditions, putting pressure on the bearings and destroying them. I would like a low clearance solution for my North Carolina location. what is gs
