I have an old pair of Chums from the 1980s that are longer and their main purpose is to let you take the glasses off and let them hang down on your chest. These are much shorter and their purpose is to be snug against the back of your head to hold your glasses on and keep them from flying off during your more active recreational pursuits.For that they do a very good job. The ends stretch over the ear-bits on glasses of most sizes, and even a big pair of Bose Frames worked acceptably. The material is a smooth stretchy tube and the slider lets you cinch them up lightly to the back of your head, at which point you can pull the glasses off and on over your head.They came with nice packaging and they feel good and well made.
