We have a 36 ft camper with a fifth wheel and 50 amp shore cable. We live in an HOA which limits us on how often and for how long we can have an RV in our driveway. From time to time we bring it home for maintenance, cleaning or charging before a long journey. This 50 to 15 amp pigtail eliminates the hassle of lugging around a heavy power cord and two step-down plugs. This provides enough power to cool the fridge, run the carpet washer or turn on the interior lights without draining the battery. I wish we had seen this 10 years ago. It looks well made, fits in the camper just like the original power cord. This made the preparation for the trip much easier.
