My boat is a low 14 inch aluminum V bottom. The case fitted perfectly. The long strap length offers more flexibility for different case shapes. Straps are attached approximately every 18 inches on the lid along its entire length and at the stern and bow. They are double stitched and run the full width of the case at each attachment point for a snug fit and protection from rain and wind. The material is of good weight and should provide years of service. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this case.
