Review on IVY Classic 10813 Mortising Bit - 32 Inch by Sean Davis

I bought this because it was half the price of Bosch and other branded cutters. The price difference was about $12-14. When it arrived I could tell the beat wasn't done very well. The cutting edges don't look sharp and even one of the grooves had a small dent. I also ordered a Bosch bit as a backup. Look at the image to see the difference in cut quality day and night. Both were created with the same settings. I also noticed that I could walk much slower with the Ivy bit than with the Bosch bit. The Bosch bit was smooth and cut straight through the material, while the classic Ivy bit made a rattling/vibrating noise when cutting (probably because they aren't sharp). waste of time. sent back.
