I rinsed with vinegar anyway but it seemed very clean to begin with. good assembly with no leaks, good visibility and noticeable water flow through the pipes. Missing cross threads or other damage to the threaded holes. Fixing screws are all accounted for and well packaged and arrived on time and undamaged. I recommend.
