Review on Cummins Filtration FBA_CV52001 Fleetguard Crankcase by Shane Schobinger

The filter was identical to the original filter that came with my 2017 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins Laramie. I just changed my first CCV filter at 40,000 miles. I believe it is recommended to replace at 60k according to the instructions. I replaced it myself before, despite the mileage, as I was doing a major overhaul on my truck at the time, so don't forget to change that filter too. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars was some imperfections that were noticeable around the edges of the filter as there were sharp plastic edges protruding that may have been left unpolished during the production process while quality control may have ignored them. "Small parts. I use some sandpaper and clean them though. The filter fitted perfectly, had no problems installing it. I'll see how reliable this part is in the future compared to the Mopar part that installs off the assembly line in 2017." It's pretty easy to replace if you're not afraid to get your hands dirty.
